Daniel L. Minnick, Sr.

Daniel L. Minnick, Sr., age 83, of Wilmington, DE died Friday, January 20, 2012.

Mr. Minnick was a proud member of IBEW Union Local #654 in Chester, where he served as superintendent and apprentice teacher. He also worked as supervisor of nuclear reactor shutdowns throughout the U.S.

Mr. Minnick wanted to express his sincere gratitude to his wife Helen for her numerous years of love and support.

Mr. Minnick is survived by his wife of 61 years, Helen L. Minnick; his son, Daniel L. Minnick, Jr.; his brother, Leonard Minnick and his wife Sue of West Grove, PA; his granddaughter, Sherri O'Neill and her husband Pat of Hockessin; and his great granddaughter, MacKenzie.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Noon at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3200 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, DE 19703. Burial will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 11:30 am - Noon.
