Mrs Doris Amelia Mullen Wykel

Doris Amelia Mullen Wykel, age 90, of West Chester, PA died Wednesday January 25, 2012 at the Pocopson Home in Pocopson Township. She was the wife of the late Llewellyn Wykel Sr., who died in 1986 and with whom she shared 42 years of marriage.
Born in Atlantic City New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Horace Grant Mullen and Amelia Rementer Mullen.
In her early years, Doris worked in an airplane factory which in those days was building planes for war. She also worked for some time as a cosmetician at Strawbridge and Clothier.
Doris was an avid bingo player, loved to travel and enjoyed playing the lottery.
Survivors include one son, Llew Wykel and his wife Andrea of New Mexico; one daughter, Nancy Wykel and her husband Bill Knapp of West Grove, PA; two brothers, Horace "Bud" Mullen of Allentown, PA and Wesley Mullen and his wife Marie of Ridley Park, PA; nine grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Doris's family will receive guests from 9:00 to 9:45AM on Monday January 30, 2012 at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home Inc. (610-444-4116), 250 W. State St., Kennett Square PA 19348.
