Ruth V. Reynolds

On January 26, 2012, our Lord received a special angel. She was 88, formerly of Glasgow, Delaware and Hobe Sound, Florida. Ruth was born in Union, W. VA., to the late Fred Taylor and Gladys (Reed) Taylor.
A talented homemaker, she and her late husband Norman managed a dairy farm in Glasgow for 30 years. She worked at several restaurants, including Hot Shoppes on 95, The Glass Kitchen, and Baker's Restaurant.
For many years she and her husband traveled. First in their motor home, then many trips abroad, but her greatest joy was her family. She loved and adored her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life J. Norman Reynolds in 2002. Also preceding her were four sisters and one brother. She is survived by her children, Bonnie Hollett of Newark, DE., Mary Ann Montgomery-Kissinger (Gene) of Bear, DE., Drew Reynolds (Cookie) of Winter Haven, FL., Gary Reynolds (Darie) of Oxford, PA., 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren. Her Sisters, Ann Pence of Martinsburg, W. VA., Jean Pence of Mansfield, Ohio, and Loretta Pound of Mansfield, Ohio.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Heartland Hospice House for their outstanding care during her brief illness.
Services will be Friday, February 3, at 11:30 am at BEESON FUNERAL HOME, 2053 Pulaski Highway, Newark, DE., 19702., where friends may call from 10:30 am to 11:30. Burial to follow at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
